Note

Passiflora edulis is a tropical climber from Brazil. The purple form (f. edulis) is more cold-hardy than the yellow form. It grows fast and clings with tendrils; it can be used on fences, pergolas and as wall cover. The fruit is sweet-sour and aromatic, used fresh, in juice and in desserts.
