About Me

10 years of listening to the soil

I live in Sakarya, in a corner where the soil still speaks. When I planted my first seed 10 years ago, I didn't know that gardening would draw me in this deeply, or that permaculture would become a life philosophy.

It started with curiosity. Then curiosity became habit, habit became passion. Today my garden is an ecosystem full of rare fruit trees, unusual root vegetables, heirloom seeds and layers that support each other.

My Garden

My garden, designed with permaculture principles, has more than 48 rare varieties. From Italian-258 figs to rutabaga, from Jerusalem artichoke to hawthorn — every plant is both a teacher and a friend. No chemicals. I work by listening to the soil.

Producing cuttings and seeds is an important part of it all. I plan to share this production with others in the future — because the cycle is only complete when shared.

Why This Blog?

To write down what I've learned. To share my mistakes, the solutions I've found, what the garden has taught me. Not academic — honest notes. For those who come from the soil and return to it.
